Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SnapTask mobile application and related services ("Service") operated by PairApply ("we", "us", or "our"). By using SnapTask, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

To use SnapTask, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

2. Acceptable Use

SnapTask is designed for household task management. You agree to:

• Use the Service responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.
• Not upload harmful, illegal, abusive, or inappropriate content.
• Not attempt to interfere with the Service's operation or security.
• Not use automated tools to access the Service without our permission.
• Not impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Homes & Shared Content

SnapTask allows you to create or join "homes" — shared groups for managing household tasks. When you join a home:

• Your display name and profile photo are visible to all home members.
• Tasks, activity logs, and leaderboard data are shared within the home.
• The home owner can remove members from the home.
• You can leave a home at any time.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create within SnapTask, including task descriptions, photos, and other materials. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than operating the Service.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

SnapTask offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to the respective store's terms and refund policies.

• Free accounts are subject to usage limits (tasks per month, recurring tasks, deferred tasks).
• Pro accounts have unlimited usage and access to additional features.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.

6. Notifications

SnapTask sends push notifications for task reminders, new tasks, due dates, and leaderboard updates. You can control notification preferences in Settings, including muting all notifications, setting quiet hours, and toggling individual notification types.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep SnapTask available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates.
• Infrastructure issues beyond our control.
• Force majeure events.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

SnapTask is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
• We are not responsible for data loss resulting from your actions or circumstances beyond our control.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of SnapTask after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.
