Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SnapTask mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") published by SnapTask ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

To use SnapTask, you must create an account using a valid email address, or by signing in with Google or Apple. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Subscription Terms

SnapTask offers a free tier with usage limits and a paid Pro subscription with unlimited access and additional features. Regarding subscriptions:

• Pro subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. All payment processing is handled by the respective app store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings.
• Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Free accounts are subject to limits on the number of tasks per month, recurring tasks, and deferred tasks.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create within SnapTask, including task descriptions, photos, and other materials ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content as necessary to provide and operate the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your User Content and will not use it for any purpose other than operating the Service. When you share content within a home, that content becomes visible to all members of that home.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use SnapTask to:

• Upload, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems or networks.
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to access the Service without our express written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these prohibitions without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The SnapTask Service, including its design, logos, trademarks, code, and documentation, is owned by SnapTask and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
• We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from your actions, device failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty (50) Danish kroner, whichever is greater.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us at snaptask@pairapply.dk. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or other users. We may also discontinue the Service entirely with reasonable notice.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. The updated Terms will include a new "Effective Date." Your continued use of SnapTask after the revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
